Our mission:

Hello! I'm Stephen the founder of Smart Planners. I created Smart Planners out of my deep passion to empower people to build the lives they've always dreamed of.

A few years ago, life threw us a curveball. In 2020, we were in a serious car accident that put my wife on unpaid medical leave. We ended up selling almost everything, including our house, and truly started over. We started a business, and by God’s grace and a lot of hard work, we made it through—and somehow came out the other side stronger and closer than ever.

Today, we run the business together while homeschooling our daughter, and we’re grateful every single day for the extra time we get as a family.

That experience taught us how much a few simple systems, clear goals, and real accountability can change everything. We’ve seen firsthand that it’s possible to get out of debt, leave a job you don’t love, and build a life that actually feels like yours—even after everything falls apart.

That’s why we started Smart Planners. We wanted to create practical tools and, more importantly, a community where people cheer each other on, share what’s working, and keep each other moving forward. It’s about all of us figuring this out together and proving that the life you keep dreaming about is absolutely within reach.
